Looks like hydroids nasty small ones that stings...

Looks like hydroids nasty small ones that stings corals as you have experienced with your softies... Might have something to do with water quality in your tank.

I've also some of this it came on a rock with ricordeas but in the start it was just ordinary red coralline algae in a month or two it turned yellow/red just like in the pictures.

I've got i dialed down with the singlecontroller...

I've got i dialed down with the singlecontroller but it goes from 30 % to 90 % and generates a nice wave effect and I don't have magnet for it, but it could be nice to get one.
