MH light

I got a Mh light a week or so ago. It seems great. But. I have it hanging about 8 - 10" above water. Salt seems to be accumulating on bulb. Do you just wipe them once in a while before they come on...

this is slightly off topic, but i have a kenya...

this is slightly off topic, but i have a kenya tree (about4") that my BTA made a home too close to. can i cut it at the base and kind of toothpick it to another rock like this.

BTA moved too close and is over taking it and it won't open up.
Can I cut it at base and move it?
If so, how?

A got a BTA, healthy and hosting my maroon clown. It's in a 46 gal. with 2x96 pc , plenty of flow. It's attached to rock near lights.
Water is fine.

My question is who feeds thier BTAs and what...
