Just spoke to the USIHO gentleman here at MACNA in pittsburght and he said his bulbs have an avaerga life span of 6000 to 8000 hours. That is about 2 years of 8 hours a day. $75 dollars...

2 x 400 watt in my 75gal

Well after looking at my buddies 90 gal on Friday, my mind went crazy and we now have a new 75 gal. I took the turtles out and put them in the pond, and took apart the 29 gal and 48 gal bow front....

yes chili corals grow very slowy. a couple of resources say that they max out at about 6 inches, that is what makes them great in nano tanks.

yes the leather shedding is a good sign, Usally i take a power head or a use my hand to make a stronger current to help it shed. Your leather should be fine.
