Yeah--my torch and frogspawn retract quite noticeably in high flow situations. Low-medium flow has been the best for them.

But Bryopsis and Hair Algae are not the same thing. As I recall, it was not as effective on Hair Algae as it was on Bryopsis.

I could be wrong, though.

Could I use 3/4" plywood for the bottom of a tank that I'm constructing? I've read many articles/threads regarding DIY plywood tanks, but I've never seen anyone just use plywood for the bottom piece....

I'm fairly certain that corals are actually part of their natural diet. Throw some GSP and some "ugly" zoanthids in there to keep it fed.
