I just installed mine last weekend. So far it's working fine - fits perfectly in the first compartment (you have to take the stock filter out) and runs very quietly.

Thanks, jdieck - I will give that a try...I guess I may have to do it on an ongoing basis as it is the darkest part of the tank (that it can get to). :)

When might I expect this life stripping frenzy to start? I mean, within a day of being placed in the tank he's hiding in one of the chambers. He hasn't touched the sand bed. :confused:

Yep - now that I think about it...I believe it is a pretty much bare tank. Just fish. Well, I guess I will learn to love my little damsel all by its lonesome.

Okay - so do they sprinkle magic happy dust on the LFS damsel tank or what? How do they keep a dozen or so in a tank slightly larger than my own, but I can only keep one?
