I only have to clean my glass once, maybe twice a week. My algae seems to like to grow on the LR and not on the glass.

Usually a few hours after the day lights come on. I've turned my timers off and I plan on leaving them off for about 3 days, then doing a water change and cleaning the sand before turning the lights...
