Is it still skimming well after lengthening the hose between the pump and skimmer? I cut my hose and barb fitting shorter in order to get it to skim better.

If it was my 29g bowing .25" I would not feel right trusting it. Not that your tank won't hold but my 29g would not flex that much if at all. Could be the difference in manufacturers.

Hey Grim,
On a 18"wide, 20" deep 4' long tank would you recommend 6 normal driven or 4 overdriven lamps? Only softies and LPS, no SPS.
