I have a 400w 20k radium over a 40g breeder. Works great for mostly SPS. My PAR reading 8" down in the middle of the tank are 400, on the sides 200. Bulb is 15" above the water.

I have the same fixture as my fuge light. I also have a PAR meter. Using the 2x65w 6500k sunlight bulbs the par 6" under water is around 100. Not sure how high up the light are...they are mounted...

I got a new Apogee PAR meter and I often see readings/studies for SPS but rarely for LPS or softies. I have mostly frogspawn, blastos and acans. Right now they are in my frag tank in the areas...

I've posted a couple times about that stuff. Nothing eats it. Have tried mexican turbos, sea hares, various crabs. Only thing I have found that helps is really keep good parms to keep corraline...
