Would still go for a hydor koralia for the 360 degree adjustment. + magnet mounting.
Durability might be an issue with this but it is cheep :D

Probably can take out your filters now if you do it bit by bit so as not to shock the system. Although you should definately get a skimmer. Also look into gtting a sump to hide all yourheaters etc...

Its mainly due to the lighting levels in your tank. Coraline can have very specific lighting requirements. Its not something to really worry about as different types will re colonise everywhere.
