Mine usually need to be shaken or blown off because of the detritus buildup on them. As soon as i get all the gunk off, they open right up.

I actually broke off a chunk of the dead coral they were growing on just about an hour ago, the polyps are all closed now, i'm sure it'll just take a day or so for them to open back up again right?

It takes them a little time to "build a colony" from what i've heard, but GREAT for aps. Just give them time and be patient, they'll seek out EVERY one!
