what about a digital programable timer - you can get them at most hardware stores and since they are digital i think you can set it however you want.

actually isnt drywall made from limestone plaster? Wouldn't the dust basically be kalkwasser? Id say just clean out the tank before filling it - with a 240 tank and 300 sump it would take quite a bit...

The water will never make it through the coils if gravity fed - you have to use a pump - and a good one at that... Actually the rotten egg smell is an indication that the denitrator is working...
