I suppose it is a reef aquarium, so I would suggest all snails. My personally favorites are cerith snail and queen conch. Also avoid any kind of crabs

The rim should be industrial standard. But if I am going to replace so much of my tank, I would be very nervous too. So for the peace of mind, I'd rather buying a new one.

I've heard that caulerpa releases some kind of toxic that is bad for sps. Not sure about that though. Personally I use Chaeto.

I have a 210 gal (72"Lx24"Wx29"H) reef with 90% soft corals (zoa's and shrooms). Currently, there are 2 x 250W MH. I am thinking about adding one more 250W MH. Would it be necessarily?

By looking at the first picture, the water level is way above the teeth of the overflow box. It would help if you can post some pictures of the return pipes inside the overflow box.

Or you can try to cut/lower the return pipe below the display tank water level. Such that the water will fall into the overflow box and the surface scum will go with it.

If the hippo is small (2"), it will out grow a 75gal tank in less than a year. Most tangs are big and they need bigger tanks (>100gal) to live happily.
