The fish suffered from a build up of lactic acid in its muscles...typical for this fish as they stress easily from shipment.

You're welcome Randall...male is a rod's onyx. Check the pics in my photo gallery and you can see what they looked like when I got them. They will definitely color up for you...the anemone they were...

They are a male/female pair...not a breeding pair...if they were a breeding pair, they would fetch somewhere in the 200-300 range.

I could never find a single bulb in the 150w range I liked better, but when I ran a combo of Ushio 10's and 20's I had the best all around results. I haven't seen the ushio14k but it may be an option...
