I dont think the filtered water has any nitrares but I dont have a TDS meter yet, so I dont know how good the water is. As for now I am budget challended so this will have to do.

For now all I have is carbon block filter, one houseing only dose not get everthing but its better than tap. I plan to add a pre fiber type filter as soon as I can. Its a DIY thing.

A simple 2 x 4 frame with ¾ inch plywood to cover it would do great. Than you don’t have to worry about stress on the stand or tank.

More than likely the cycle is about 1/2 to 3/4 over. IMO you should wait 3 or 4 weeks before you add any thing else to the tank. Good luck with everything.

Yes get LR it will help with the cycle usually make the cycle shorter.
1 to 1.5 lbs per gallon. depending on how porous the rock is.
