I find that mid tank usually colors it up or the decadia. too high up my cyphastrea browns out a bit ironically. I recently moved mine to the lower/bottom of the tank.

Just wanted to say that my Octopus hasn't caused any temperature issue. My tank usually stays at a 79-81 range. And since adding the octopus, it hasn't changed.
