Algae is common with new systems. It will go away on it's own with time.

If you have live rock, most people would not use a filter. The rock and a skimmer should be all that you require.

All calcium reactors need a little tweaking on initial setup if you do not have a pH probe and a controller to manage the effluent....

I added the Regal yesterday. I chose a small one so that the Yellow would consider it less of a threat. All is good - no fighting.
