Figure 8.5 lbs. per gallon of water (8.33 but rounded up to be safe). If you have 58g system with a 20g sump the water alone will be over 650 lbs....

I don't think your shrimp ate it...in fact I suspect mine of actually eating one of my shrimp.

Mine almost always retracts into the sandbed during the day, leaving only a bit of the tube casing...
