best perceived color. i think that coral color itself does not change because of the light spectrum. but the way it looks to our eyes changes. when that actinic light goes off all the corals change...

i too have the schedule 80 bulkheads. i was thinking of using the silicone sealant like vaseline. it never hardens, just to help seal the joint. did you just use the rubber only.

i don't trust the one way valves. a little sponge growth in there and then it won't work.
