most (if not all) lps corals do not grow in sps dominated areas of reefs. lps corals are found significantly deeper down and in more protected / calmer areas.

i use the octopus hang on. it looks like the cpr and has the same basic principal, but is made from nice quality materials and has an awesome pump. skims nasty.
