The diatom bloom will go away in a week or so that is common and a good sign your tank is cycling. Add some small reef hermits to help with cleaning up detritis and algae.

I throw mine in a 5 gal bucket filled with vinegar I wash them in the washer with no soap just vinegar once a week or once every two weeks. I have 20 socks and just rotate them.

the higher the K rating the more blue the light...
the higher the K rating the more blue the light will be so a 10,000K bulk will be white to yellowish but a 14,000K bulk will be very blue.
