I'd rather not have water constantly circulating that far. Just having a pump to get water up when I need it (and not at 700 gph) would be better for me.

I ordered gray PVC so the closed loop piping won't be so noticeable and my local Home Depots don't supply the gray kind. They'll be here Monday, so that gives the silicon in the sump plenty of time...
