Mag 7 return very noisy

I'm using a mag7 return on my 30g cube and right now the noise is unbearable. Any ideas on how to quiet this beast down?Could it possibly be a faulty pump?

Whatever you do, do not pop the bubble in the tank because it will spread everywhere. Try and take the pieces out and roll it off with your fingers.

I have a coral beauty that nips occasionally but the corals usually defend themselves quite well. I wouldn't worry too much, just keep an eye on it.

Determining the correct flow

Would it be wise to go with a 1.5" bulkhead or a 2" bulkhead for my overflow. My return is a mag7 with two 1/2" returns. My only concern is will the drain handle 700gph
