I have had 2 clownfish jump. One I saved one I didn't, it's when the lights go out and them hosing the powerhead or heater high up in the tank.

I would not put it in a qt. Got mine before the LFS had acclimated it, and it took almost 2 weeks before it ate anything I gave it. I think alot had to do with it seeing the other fish eating and...

IMO probably hiding. Even my large inverts/fish can be hard to spot in my small 24G if they hide. It's probably freaked out from the move. Good luck.

I got a birdsnest the other day, it's not attached to anything. So I just put it in a crack in the rocks. Is that fine? if the 'root' do not touch the rock it will seek it's way down and form a base...
