Im planning on using my 180 as a home for my female undulate, and I'm going to have it on a very low stand that i just made, so i can look down on the tank.

Ive tried regular NO florecsents, I liked them...
Ive tried regular NO florecsents, I liked them but too pink for the fish.
I tried powercompacts, too yellow no matter how high the actinic to daylight ratio is.
I tried VHO florescents, too...

excluding sharks what would you say are the largest fish present in the reef?
The tampa bay aquarium has an 8 foot goliath grouper.
Ive seen a 4 foot napolean wrasse at a LFS.

Apparently vho's are the only lights that have true actinic spectrum, for best color in fish and corals.
I have some on my 65 now, they look good, but alot hotter than i thought they would be.
