I've got the light from that thread running at night over my sump and my macro is healthy and growing but not as fast as I expected. I converted a 29G tank into a sump/fuge--PM me if I can help....

I guess my experience is different. I used silicone to put in plexi baffles and it's been running fine for a year. So far, at least! When I was researching setups like mine seemed pretty common.

Wvdiscus, you'll get a lot of opinions about this, but IMO PC lighting is the way to go for starters (especially as you'll get hooked and want a bigger tank soon, anyway. Just ask anyone around...
