The camera on that link boasts a 30frame per second rate all be it at the smallest window but you should I believe be able to see a moving streaming video if you set it up as so.

Just be careful if you do dose iodine which I would advise not to , testing for iodine is not the most reliable of tests.
I just allow the water change to replenish elements like that.

I would assume it is also the pressure,pressure guages are cheap to install to ro units.(mine cost £10)
I would advise him to get one as even if his pressure is ok now it can warn of future issues.

I believe chillers are the best investment and getting cheaper for a saltwater tank.
Alot of LFS also allow to by over a 10 month interest free period which helps to get the purchase past the other...
