sounds like its doing good. the algae will come back in patchs and will be brown to tan. it will lok pretty bad once the algae starts...ie brown and tan splotches all over it. it can take some time....

dont worry about the hydroids they will fade in time, we had them bad at one time and they just slowly disappeared, we still got a couple but and as bad as when they first was noticed.
