I use the coarse ARM media, premium aquatics carries it. I have my effluent drip through a tray of the fine ARM media to buffer the PH back up. I like the coarse stuff

Just letting everyone know, PepBoys has 1000 watt generators for like 80 bucks. This is a great item for any reefer to have in there equipment line-up.

Run your pumps and possibly tank heater...
