Coralife 2x65 watt pc light

One of my lights quit. After some troubleshooting, I think it's a bad ballast. Can anyone help me out and point me to a source of info on replacing them? Thanks,

Water softener water

Just moved into a new house where all the water is on a water softener. I typically use tap water that's been run through a Pur filter. Can I use the water from the water softener?
