I would say it is the lighting that is causing...

I would say it is the lighting that is causing the color change, but also make sure you can test for Ca. Try to keep the Ca at 400 -450.

i would, but don't they compete for food with Madarins? I have a spoted mandarin that i cannot get rid of, and my tank will not be able to support a mandarin and wrasse.

I have had two of them in my pink pocillopora for about 1.5 years - they are very cool and have not harmed the coral at all.

They are great to watch and will not harm the coral at all - enjoy them...
