The 15" is a Digiview brand monitor.

Both work fine.

Like Sanjay said, it'll go through a cycle but it should come fairly quick...2 - 4 days. After you see the nitrites hit zero... time for a water change, then you're all set.

They are very small. About 3/4 of the size of a grain of rice. Look at night for them. And inspect the bases and undersides with a magnifying glass for the eggs.
