I use a float valve in my sump that has a line that runs through a wall to a RO storage tub.

go to usplastics.com go to valves and look at spigots. They have a 3/4" spigot with washers on both sides....works awesome. It is called "container 3/4" Tap"

I cleaned the impeller assembly and the sound is still there. It almost seems as though the rotating impeller is out of balance and rubbing in the case. Any ideas?

My Iwaki external pump is making a screeching noise. I took off the front (plastic) impeller housing and exposed the magnet. I turned it on and the noise is gone. I assume it has to do with the...

Setting up a 55 gal with live rock and fish. I have a sump and a amiracle W/D with an oceanic skimmer. What else woul dyou recommend? ShouldI avoid the W/d from the start and do a refugium?
