i think that my problem was either the oils in the skimmer, or oils from my diy over flow, you can see an oily film in the last chamber in my sump. and the skimmer is starting to remove some stuff...

i have also torn apart the pump and cleaned and cleaned the venturi and air line. when i move the skimmer from mixing tank to sump it does not sit it still has water in it. its weird.
