it's not luck i would suggest that if some are concerned about buying a infected fish from an lfs that they ask the lfs to qt the fish for you. Most that i deal with will do this for you

lets put this to a vote to see how many people actually qt their fish. imo if you buy your fish online i would qt, if you purchase at a lfs where you can observe the fish b4 you purchase i would say...
