Hey Luke or Clev....after you did the mesh mod, did it lower the water level due to more bubbles in the main body.....right now with mine if I adjust my air down too much, with the air flow adjusted...

Clev...you do the gate/ball valve mod yet......so far so good with mine...producing nice dark skimmate.....even though I have a very light bio load right now.

soak in a mixture of warm water and white...

soak in a mixture of warm water and white vinigar, after rinse real good with water....should do the trick for ya. Let it soak for an hour or so

Skimmer is producing very nice skimmate now......doing the gate valve mod this week to make it more precise in the tunning....it will also allow me to make the exhaust father away from my return...

I have not done the mod yet....where did you get the fitting at? Mine has been running for 4 days now.....man the microbubbles in the main tank were unreal, but today it has subsided...

Thanks Bertoni.....I've just upgraded to a much bigger skimmer so hopefully it will pull those numbers down a bit, just gotta get threw the break in period....microbubbles i hate them....:)
