^ I have the 48" TX5 on my 55 inside a wooden canopy, so I would imagine that it's louder than it would be if it was suspended. It really can't be heard outside of the room though.

Sorry to hear about the tank. I ordered some new bulbs and when the UPS box showed up it was "C" shaped. It looked like a monkey packaged it. The replacements came fedex and were very well packed...

Coral bandeds can be pretty aggressive towards other shrimp, so there will most likely be a problem given that it is a smaller tank. Some people don't have problems mixing them at all though.

i spent about 7 hours getting my sg back up after my ATO went supernova one sunday... i wasnt very happy. i think the runner up to that was about 2 1/2 hours rearranging rock.

i would think that two 250's with luminarc...

i would think that two 250's with luminarc reflectors would be enough. im assuming that there is a crossbar in the center which would make 3 bulbs kind of difficult.
