Could be bad news if float stuck open. I get tired of filling up top off containers also, I just worry about 75g a day into my tanks which of course would happen when I am at the beach.

sump lighting

I use a 6500 K compact floresent screwed into a a aluminium reflector clamp light. Plus there is inteesting stuff that lives in sumps fun to look at.

I have one set up like kayak guy except before return i have flow under over under to trap bubbles in fuge.. I run about 300 gph through mine using an aga 30. The bubbles get to fuge but so what!

Euro Reef RS 80

A euro Reef RS 80 promo would fit 22" high Only need 1/3 inch or so to SLIDE cup off. Good buy at $178. There are a number of skimmers that will fit your stand.

I run a bac pac in my sump and use a aqua clear 802 with mesh mod it skims more and darker. The bacpac puts out more bubbles than i could live with in a display, the sump prevents the bubbles...

I have a 55 with 30 aga sump I run around 300 gph through the sump/fuge works well for me. I think just enough flow to keep bubbles out of u tube if you use one. I did have to change the rear center...

I have a euro reef rs 80 promo and for under $180.00 is hard to beat. i put a aga 30 under my 55 had to mod the back center brace to get it to fit. Make sure you have enough room in sump to DRAIN...
