T5 for 72" tank

Thinking of upgrading to T5's

Can anyone suggest a setup for 72" tank.
how many bulbs? 2x3ft next to each other or 1x5ft per row etc
its mixed reef....a little of everything

I'm assuming when you say very low on the nitrates they wernt 0. so most likely your problem is caused by a combiniation of phosphates and nitrates and possibly the lights.....like you already...

whats your water parameters in particular phosphates and nitrates? what kinda lights/ how old are the bulbs? what size tank? when did the algae start?

koralias on 24 volts
koralias off 29 volts
everything off 46 volts

im gonna test them in the bucket next

Whats the difference? he is topping off what evaporated ..... adding SW while its evaporating bit by bit or doing it all at once at the end is the same thing. Or am I missing something :mixed:

a few days should be fine IMO. My LFS keeps salinity at 1.22-23 I keep mine at 1.025 .....so new lifestock gets used to it fairly quickly...i drip for 4-8 hrs depending on what it is.

hmm ok unplugged one by one and it is BOTH of my koralia's 4. Is there a way to get rid of it other than replacing item. One of them is brand new.. just had it replaced last week.
