Can anyone suggest a setup for 72" tank.
how many bulbs? 2x3ft next to each other or 1x5ft per row etc

I'm assuming when you say very low on the nitrates they wernt 0. so most likely your problem is caused by a combiniation of phosphates and nitrates and possibly the lights.....like you already...

koralias off 29 volts
everything off 46 volts
im gonna test them in the bucket next

:eek2: ...that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. it does not raise salinity faster. you are only adding water that has already evaporated ...the salinity is already higher from the evaporation...

Whats the difference? he is topping off what evaporated ..... adding SW while its evaporating bit by bit or doing it all at once at the end is the same thing. Or am I missing something :mixed:

a few days should be fine IMO. My LFS keeps salinity at 1.22-23 I keep mine at 1.025 .....so new lifestock gets used to it fairly quickly...i drip for 4-8 hrs depending on what it is.

so if I'm understanding this correct.....a ground probe removes the electricity from the tank? The electricity has to go from the koralia to the probe....so is there still current in the tank?
