you'd need a chiller for a catalina, and those are generally pretty consistent. so i don't think it'd fluctuate

i kept a 10 gallon for about 7 months prior to upgrading to a 29g, not one problem EVER. And i plan on getting a 3 gallon in the coming months. I'm not saying really that they are the easiest...
