Cool it's yours. John, I bought it to plumb the H&S skimmer but ended up just using hard pvc. I'll give ya a call sunday night-nish. I'm going snowboarding tomorrow.

I would say it's the lighting that's not enough...
I would say it's the lighting that's not enough rather than the alkalinity.
Consolidate your tank and use the money to get some decent lighting. You can't skim on that.

With a tank as big as yours, I wouldn't buy anything but mag flake + epsom salt as Yinger has mentioned. I went through a whole gallon of TechM with my 60 gal, I can only imagine what you would need...
