Pan world pumps are very quiet. ou can make most skimmers quiet it you install it externally. That way you don't have any splash.

You can not get the scratches out of the glass. Fillthe tank with tap water and scrape it with a razor blade. Works great for me

I would take the rock out and also some water,...
I would take the rock out and also some water, add a little power head for oxygen and move it. Leaving the live stock that way it is not to stressfull on them. Or a battery powered air raider.

I would get rid of the RIO. They are very unreliabe. I have seen some bad stuff happen with those. If you are going to use a summirsible then I would recommend the MAG 7

29 gallon? He said it is a 20 gallon. Every website out there will tell you their minimum tank size is a 30 gallon. And that is pushing it.
