I have a reefmania custom sump/fuge that I got in a package deal with my 125g. It's a nice setup except that the fuge is oversized, which makes the pump/skimmer chambers a bit small for my tastes. :(

I personally think you got a great deal on a great skimmer. $355 is very cheap for a skimmer that was never used. They're $430+ online.
