I should also add that there never was a center brace on this tank and the plastice frame was so flimsy I can't imagine it was doing much.

No, I'm just using the stock electronic ballasts...
No, I'm just using the stock electronic ballasts from hellolights. The tank is fairly bright but it is mostly softies. Everything has been happy and is growing so no complaints.

This is actually an old All Glass 30 long I had...
