2 #3's should do the trick, one on each end. Maybe 3 #2's but this may be to much depending on how you angle them to avoid a sandstorm.

looks like a spionid worm to me. These are pests IMO. They will extend their weblike mass to catch food and in turn aggravate your corals. I would inject some calcium hydroxide into it if i were you

I always use the washing machine with no bleach...

I always use the washing machine with no bleach or chemicals. I wash it twice and let it air dry for a day. I have never seen any ill affects for the last 2 years.

the only difference i've seen is the pumps that come with it. Usually you pay more for the OTP 2000 pump, which is a better pump than the cheaper one. I have this skimmer on a 72 Bow and I love it....
