Thanks. I was going to move that coral in the middle since it's probably too close for comfort. And I'm keeping track of Alk but not calcium or magnesium yet.

They've been in my tank since Christmas eve.

I am testing Alk - last test on 12/5 was between 2.5 - 3.0.

Not testing for magnesium. I do a ten gallon water change every other week - doesn't that keep some of the trace elements up? Sheesh,...

Questions about calcium

I have not been testing for calcium in my tank. However, I recently added a Frogspawn to my tank, which is the first coral I've purposely added (the other ones in there are hitchhikers).

SO, now...

I have a followup question I forgot to ask last night: What about flow? Should I have them lower in the tank where the flow is not as great?

Questions on Frogspawn

I am interested in getting a frogspawn from my LFS. It looks like two "heads" each about two inches across attached to a piece of branch rock.

My current tank inhabitants are a clownfish, scooter...

I had to pull rather hard to get the limpet off. The good thing was that I didn't see any pieces of the squirt in the limpet mouth.
