i run it over the night my tank is 55gal and the...
i run it over the night my tank is 55gal and the skimmer does 100gal so it runs for about 9 hours a day. i use it of a night as the noise can be irritating still getting used to it.

I added one of these guys to my tank today which consists so far of 1 percula clown, 1 gold headed sleeper goby, 1 yellow tang and he is as happy as larry best mates with the yang already and eating...

i added a gobie a week ago and my sand bed is spotless now it had a lot of algea but as he searches for food in the sand he churns it over and cleans the tank.

the skimmer has only been running for 3 days it says in the hand book that you made need to shut of the air valve for 3 days to 3 weeks until the tank has enough bio to pick up on and start skimmer...

I think the skimmer is working fine i think its that i dont have much bio build up yet for the skimmer to pick up hence why the foam is not that dry or in such a large quantity.

yeah there is a fair bit of alge the snails are...
yeah there is a fair bit of alge the snails are eating ir off of the live rock and the sand is 2/3 covered which im turning it over quite frequently.

I purchased my first coral today and cannot remember the name of it. if you touch it, it dissapears inside. when it comes out it has long yellow arms with a tiny flower looking head anyone help.
