I decided to add a thin layer of coarse sand mixed with crushed coral. i rinse and rinse and still get the lovely sand storm. aquascaping is complete at this point....

for a 75 i would go with a 6 light 54w fixture. use individual reflectors also. plenty of light for SPS.

i have both in a 72 bowfront. no problems at all, however the lawnmower was in the tank 8 months prior to the goby if that makes a difference.
