The noise was only an issue using the smaller black propeller in the old kit. The new kit has the larger white propeller for the 1200. Now its not an issue.

The New Sure Flows use the same Dumas 3004 Prop as the Gulf Stream and also come with the smaller prop as well.

I would get a Sure Flow kit at Premium Aquatics, it comes with a swivel bracket and a larger propeller for the MJ 1200.

No way the eco mod puts out 3000gph on any Maxi-Jet maybe 1500, the new high flow Sure Flow puts out 2100gph and it has a larger propeller , so no way it puts out 10x

The hum is much louder on the GS2 than the Sure Flow, but I have the Sure Flow on a MJ 900 and is Quiet,...

No spinning backwards wouldn't cause this, the stopper would not let it spin backwards, Do you have them on a wave maker? This can happen on to the MJ pumps if they are stopped and started many...

I'm sure Algae Free will gladly send out a new Propeller if one is damaged. I highly doubt they would even charge for it, they have great customer service.

Do you have them on MJ 1200's? Lots of people have had noise from them on the 1200's. Most seem like they quiet down after they get slimed up.

I haven't seen any posts about loud ones...

Get the Sure Flow with a MJ 600 or 900 the flow will be a nice wide flow, not to wide like the K4. IMO, more flow than the K4.

I have them on 900s and no noise and good flow. From what have read the flow is so close to the same from all the pumps that why not...

If you are not going to run the 3004 prop on the Sure Flow then you might as well get a 400/600 or 900 MJ for the SF, it will be much more efficient.
