I just think that at this point you need to stop adding more animals. You can always get them later. Completely clean up the parasite situation and stabilize the tank and its bio system...

That is correct. I siphon the bottom of my Sump about monthly. It makes a bid difference. I also noticed a huge difference by growing large amounts of macro in my sump and harvesting it regularly.

As as far as number of fish. My tank has had at least that many for many years. Ability to export the wast is the crucial issue in water quality as I see it.

jmaneyapanda I agree. Even with heavy feeding it can be hard to put the kind of weight on them that some fish carry in the Ocean. Such as Yellow Tangs. They just don't seem to get fat easily.
