I work for Arrowhead, and the distilled is a good choice, although a 5 gallon bottle delivered would run you around $9......I have been using the mountain spring water for topoff for the past 7...

I did when I changed a sock filter for some reason.........they were gone the next day. I have mine in about 9 1/2 inches of water in my sump.......

I had the same problem, and used a piece of an acrylic scrubber pad underneath the pump to raise it up. And yes, mine also came with the elbow and telescope not attached.

Mine has broken in and producing some good...

Mine has broken in and producing some good skimmate. Still dealing with some microbubbles, but it has calmed down considerably.......feeling much better about my purchase now!

I got suckered into one (I am impulsive, I know!!) and received it today......The telescopic fitting releases a lot of microbubbles from the bottom of the t-fitting, and the top seal of the chamber...
